Hoërskool Punt se Sara Jansen van Huis Pepler en haar 40 jaar diens

Die gesegde lui dat niemand onvervangbaar is nie, maar sommige mense laat ‘n ongelooflike leemte wat met jare getrap is deur harde werk, omgee en vriendelikheid wat vir ewig onthou sal word. Veertig jaar gelede het Sara (Saartjie) Jansen as jong meisie haar loopbaan begin vorm by Huis Pepler. Dit was in die dae toe Hoërskool PUNT nog in die Laerskool Milkwood se geboue was. Vir ‘n salaris van R35 per maand en  ses dae’n week het hierdie jong vrou vele Mosselbaaiers kos gegee, skoon gemaak en ‘n rol gespeel in hul opvoeding, weg van hul ouerhuis. Haar stories...

Outeniqua Primary Early Act Club members busy with their “blanket drive”

Outeniqua Primary Early Act Club members are showing some of the blankets that were collected during their “blanket drive”.  It was organized to keep the little Wikkelwurms at Bethesda cozy and warm during the cold winter months.  Moms, grannies and children have been knitting and sewing for the past month so that it can be handed over when they do a birthday party for the May “babies”.  Scarves, beanies and gloves were also donated and will definitely put smiles on the little Wikkelwurms’...
